During class and pool sessions, you will learn the basic principles of scuba diving, equipment preparation and care, and basic scuba skills.

No prior scuba diving experience is needed. You'll learn everything you need to know to explore the underwater world using scuba.

This course certifies you to dive to a maximum of 18m/60ft, and allows you to dive anywhere in the world!

After two pool sessions in Campbell River, you will take to the ocean on our luxury dive vessel Ocean Guardian for four ocean dives with your instructor. Getting in and out of the water has never been easier... our boat has a diver lift! Warm up between dives with hot chocolate in the heated cabin - that also has a washroom!

You will dive at sites around Campbell River and Quadra Island such as Lone Tree Island, Row and be Damned, Octopus' Garden, Grouse Island, and Argonaut Wharf.

The marine life around Campbell River is vibrant and colourful, with walls of soft corals, sponges, and anemones. We often find schools and perch and rockfish, lingcod, nudibranchs, and in the summer the bull kelp grows in dense forests. On the surface, you may spot humpback whales, orcas, sealions, and harbour seals.

If you're lucky, you'll get to see our favorite animals such as Grunt Sculpins, Wolfeels, and Giant Pacific Octopus!
