Discover Local Diving - These two dives are ideal for less experienced divers who wish join us on a stress free dive under the guidance of a Divemaster at no extra cost.

Requirements are that you are already an Open water dive with a dry suit certification. These are recreational dives and not training dives. The dive will be guided by a Divemaster who will also explain the procedures of diving from the Ocean Guardian dive boat and any other questions you may have.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Certification: PADI Open Water certification or equivalent. If you've never been diving with us before, please provide a logbook and certification card.

Recent cold water diving experience.

We require that first time divers with us or if your last cold water diving is more then 6 months ago you do at least 1 check dive with a divemaster. (divemaster fees are noted below)

Liability Form: each diver must complete a liability form. We have copies on the boat when you arrive!

WHAT TO BRING

- Proof of certification and logbook (if you've never been diving with us before)
- Dive gear (if you don't have your own, you can rent from us, check out our rental prices and pay when you pick up!)
- Dive computer or bottom timer (each diver must have one, and you can rent one if you don't have your own)
- Bathing suit if you're diving wetsuit
- Warm undergarments if you're diving drysuit
- Water and snacks
- Camera
- Sunscreen, hat, appropriate clothing for the weather
- Gratuities (optional)
 

ADD A DIVEMASTER

The currents and visibility can make diving in Campbell River challenging if you don't have cold-water diving experience. If you've never been diving in Campbell River before or would like a local guide, we are more than happy to provide an experienced divemaster.

Please contact us with at least 1 weeks notice if you would like a divemaster on your charter!

Depending on your group size, cost varies (maximum 3 divers per divemaster).

- 1 Diver / 2 Divers: $75/dive
- 3 Divers: $100/dive
