Meet The Staff: Kianna Zivny

Divemaster & Sales Associate

 

Kianna was originally certified in Vancouver, BC in 2013. Two years later, she became a Divemaster in Cairns, Australia.

She grew up in the Lower Mainland but spent her summers on Hornby Island. She loves travelling and diving in tropical places in her spare time and is very passionate about marine conservation and marine debris removal.

Kianna studied Geography at UBC specialising in Environment and Sustainability. She has been involved in a number of different research and conservation projects around the world, including marine internships in Madagascar and Honduras.

When not in the shop helping customers, you can find Kianna exploring the local trails with her dog, Tofu.
